is there a way to just download this pack and not the whole thing? i cant seem to find any option to do so
No. You need to install the entire thing. You can choose to NOT synchronize some of the DLC if you don't want to use it by right clicking on it and selecting "keep online only". Then, it will not show up in the game and, when you open the DLC area within the game it will say "download to use".
