Hi! I followed all the instruction and installed the game with traditional setting on. I played once or twice and everything was good but now everytime I pop up the game it says I haven't any extra packs!!! I play through EA app

When you use the Lab Version (both saver and traditional) and EA App updates itself (happens every couple of days, sometimes), you need to run the installer again, exit EA App (or restart the PC), open EA App again, then play.

Hi! It is correct. You need to open mail.yandex.com in your browser. Accept each of the two invitations there by clicking on the link provided on each email (then confirming after opening each link). Sorry, Yandex changed their way of doing things a few months ago. Before it used to show up directly at disk.yandex.com.

I am getting a pop-up from yandex disc saying "Files are too large and weren't uploaded to Yandex Disc." "Activate Yandex 360 Premium to upload files bigger than 1 GB." The files in question are ClientDeltaBuild0, ClientDeltaBuild6, ClientDeltaBuild7, ClientDeltaBuild8. It tells me to choose a plan, or move to a different folder, but I feel like I remember you saying we didn't need to get premium for this. How do I resolve this?
Hi! That happens when you accidentally modify files (with certain advanced mods, for example), move them (by accident) or copy them (also, by accident). Yandex thinks you want to add your own content and the limit is 10 GB for that on their free version.
Paying them would not solve your problem as you'd be working with your own static files instead of the ones I update.
You need to delete everything on your yandex disk, then let me know when you're done, so I can reinvite you and you can start over, sorry.
If Yandex asks you where to move "the files" you can choose anywhere in your computer as a temporary location, since you'll be deleting files anyways.
Also note you can't reuse files you already have when you start a new installation and you can't use EA App to update the Lab Version if you're using Space Saver (Traditional is ok) in the Lab Version.

Hi! I see you didn't have access to the server as your invitation was pending.
Please empty your yandex disk both via browser first (disk.yandex.com) wait a few minutes and open your Yandex Disk App on your computer (Windows, of course), check it's clean there too.
Then, check where your Sims shortcut is pointing to, as you are likely playing with an old version of the game stored somewhere.
Also, remember you do NOT need to pay Yandex! I pay for it on my end!
Once you're done cleaning things up, please message me here or send me an email so I can reinvite you and you can start the tutorial all over from the start. ππ»

NO! Do NOT delete that folder! It has your saves, mods and CC! Recorded Videos and Screenshots too!

Hi, is it possible to have a mac version of the game?
Hi! You need to be able to run Windows x64 (arm version via parallels does not work so you can't use M1 M2 or M3 Macs) via BootCamp or via Parallels.
can it run on the standard version of parallels or it needs to be the pro version?
This is not supported on Mac Devices.
Sometimes it works on Macs if you're able to run Windows x64 via BootCamp, for example. It should work using Parallels as well if you're able to use Windows x64 (no guarantees). It currently won't work if you're using an M1 M2 or M3 processor as they use arm architecture and it seems Parallels still won't run x64 Windows on it with full compatibility. One test you can try, if you have access to the Lab Version, even using arm windows, is to install EA App on your Windows there, playing the game. If the game works try to follow the The Sims 4 Automatic OnLine (Lab Version with Gallery) tutorial. Hopefully it works. Keep me posted.

Yesterday when I went to update the game for the new DLC, the "data" and "delta" folders had a red x on it, instead of the blue syncing one. I uninstalled Yandex, uninstalled the Sims and starting fresh, but I'm still getting the same issue with my fresh reinstall
Hi! It seems the mod that created that file OrganizedDebug is what broke the game, as you need to use the Lab Version with Gallery (Traditional non Space Saver) to install advanced mods.

Yesterday I saved my game and shut down my computer but when loading the game today all of the packs are showing as 'unowned'. Everything was working fine before and is still downloaded through Yandex Disk. I repaired the game and restarted my PC however this made no difference. π

Hi! You open disk.yandex.com and you delete everything there.
You also do the same after waiting five minutes on your Yandex Disk App (Windows).
Then you check you have the entire 10 GB of space available at the bottom of the app, to be sure you're not operating on an old copy.
Now, as you accepted the invitation, you need to delete everything EXCEPT for the lab folder you just accepted, hence why I emailed you saying you should clean first, accept after. It's ok now, just pay attention and you'll be fine, then you have to follow the lab tutorial again.

I've been a patron for a few years and am only just now running into this issue.
My game was crashing at launch all of a sudden after I updated to the most recent kits yesterday. I did a clean install but was having the same issue ):
I ended up trying to do another clean install, but now all the folders have nothing in them. When inside the Yandisk app, all the folders under Premium Access have a green tick (and 'download' in an instant), but there are 0 files inside these folders. Under the Sims 4 Automatic version the files are present. Inside my actual game folder on my drive, only the folders are present.
If I could have some help that would be so wonderful, once the game can actually download I may also need help the crashing to desktop during launch issue. Thank you so much in advance (:

External hard drive questions as I'm trying to figure out what is the best method.
Right now I have my game via shell extention on my hard drive.
When there are auto updates do I need to redo the steps above to add the new updated game?
Second Question
What about just installing the game on my external hard drive? Do I just point yandex to the hard drive and install from there and all future updates will just auto update?

There are many ways you can do this.
Ideally you want to have your external drive connected at all times, then you just use it as your Yandex Disk default synchronization location.
You'll break things if you ever use the computer with the drive detached, though.
If using the Lab Version you might want to use the space saver if your idea is to save space in your internal drive(s).
If you ever run Yandex Disk App or the Game without the drive in place you might run into problems (the latter is less problematic, but Yandex Disk would just change itself and start synchronizing to C: π± so you must have your drive connected at all times).
