  5. Hey! It has been YEARS since i wanted to play the sims lol.
    I used to use this service before but I've since purchased the game and a few of the expansion packs.
    Can i combine Architect downloads with my current game? or would it have to be one or the other?

  6. Hi there,

    I'm having an issue with the game, it is creating double worlds in the select world screen. One world is correct but the other is glitched with empty. I also have a world that is unnamed.

    What would be the best way to go about fixing this? Do I need a clean install?

      1. Sims 4. Premium Access Lab.

        All the folders are green, there are some mods. Previously had a manage worlds mod installed but removed it.

        I'm wondering if there's any way to repair the game from the Yandex side. Just repaired the game from the EA side.

        1. Nice! So, were you using space saver or were you using traditional?

          Try running the installer again as traditional (provided all your icons are green). Then, try the game again. If it fails, go back to the main menu and try to start a new save / new game.

          If it does not work, exit the game and rename your "Sims 4" folder inside Documents: The Sims 4 How to Remove Mods, CC and Saves to Troubleshoot a Broken Game

          Then, try again.

          1. Nothing was working so I did a clean install of the base game through the EA app.

            However when I now try to run the updater, it says the game is patched and the files are updated, but I only have the items and maps from the base game.

            1. When that happens, you need to exit EA App. Open EA App again and try the game again.

              Also, double check you ran the installer as administrator and that you didn't de-select any folder etc.

              Oh, and you only have EA App, no more Origin and only one copy of EA App in your PC, correct? Just double checking.

              Glad the game does not glitch, at least.

                1. Also, double check that the installer is finding the right copy of the game. If you have an older copy of Sims 4 elsewhere you'll also find this issue if my installer updates an older copy instead of the one you're using right now. Look around your C Drive.

                  That also happens when you have the game on a different drive as well as on C, and you use the other drive for your EA App. The installer updates the first copy of the game it encounters and stops at it.

                  1. I only have one install of the Sims 4 on this computer, i just did a fresh reinstall and download of the yandex version as well and it doesn't appear to be working, is there any way to tell the installer where my sims install is?

                    1. No, but you can check the folders below, in this order. If my installer finds the game on one above, it picks it and it will NOT operate on other copies.


                      C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\The Sims 4
                      C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4
                      C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4

                      Also, when you run the game, if you check the DLC, what does show as owned (and not owned)?

    I need to transer my sims 4 files to my external hard drive but I do not want to uninstall and re-install the game. Is there another way to do it?
