What can we expect from The Sims 4 on Spring of 2020? Is the Corona Virus Quarantine / Lockdown going to halt everything?
Do you want a sneak peak about the possibilities? Watch the video above, from Simmer Erin, and let me know in the comments section below what you believe might happen during this insane lock down!
Meanwhile I wish all of you are safe, healthy and with lots of food and toilet paper stocked up during this total lockdown we're living on right now!

Also, share your favorite mods, challenges and plays below! I recently live streamed a fully isolated sim challenge (Micro Home on Tiny Living) for more than 12 hours!
I really need help with my game. I can no longer play sims 4 because of its never ending loading screen (5-10 mins) and when I am finally in my specific saved game it is very laggy that I cannot even play. It may be because of my large game file (a mansion with lots of stuff in it w/ cc and mods) I tried playing other saved game file and it is playable although there is still a bit of lag for like 5 seconds and the loading screen still takes longer time to load (5 mins) even if the saved game isn't even heavy. I update my mods and the cc's are stable. I have 40 gb free space in my OS and hard drive. 4 gb ram and barely fulls. I am pretty sure my computer's up to date. During previous patches, that specific saved game of mine runs smoothly and loading screen takes 2-3 mins max and I didn't even bother updating my computer. What is happening with my game. Please help me.
I am so sad to hear that. I know that the game runs faster if your Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4 folder is inside an SSD instead of a Hard Drive. Is that possible for you? Same for the Program Files folder, the difference in performance is massive.
4 GB is a bit tight to play with everything, since your operating system uses a good chunk of that. You might be using your disk as virtual RAM, which makes everything run much slower.
Thank you very much for replying! The Electronics Art>The Sims 4 is in my SSD. I can't move my Sims 4 program files into my SSD because it will take up all of its space. In prev versions my TS4 program files are in my hard drive and the game is working fine. I thought 4gb RAM is the game's RAM requirement. Sorry I have a little knowledge with computer specs
Sure! Well, windows likely uses almost all those 4 GB. You can try lower game settings and laptop mode to see if it runs better. The game is quite slow whenever I play from the hard drive, even without mods on a "high end" machine with 32 GB of RAM and an NVidia GTX 1080 video card.
I tested my sims 4 saved game (the heaviest game file) a while ago and it miraculously worked fine. Wow! I did not touch anything in the Electronic arts > The Sims 4 folder. I just deleted some files in my SDD and HDD. I am soooo happy that I get to play again especially because I have nothing to do at home. Stay safe π
Thanks! It's so nice to hear you made it work well! Please have fun and enjoy your time at home safely!
Canβt find a way to contact you so sorry if Iβm asking this in the wrong place, my game is fully up to date but Iβve been getting problems where once Iβve visited a lot the next time I go it says itβs incomplete, which isnβt true as all the necessary items are there! π« just wondering if you have any advice for this as Iβm unable to play the game now π thanks in advance β€οΈ
