  1. I didn't get the last update. My game still works but some cc I can't use because it says it was built in a newer version of the game. How do I add the new update to my game. Thanks in advance

    1. Hi! Thank you very much! Everything looks normal here and your access to the server looks normal too, your game should already be up to date if you followed my tutorial and you're running Yandex Disk App in your computer as usual.

  3. Hi, I'm having sync issues. Most of the files have same problem. The resource cfg file. I have multiples of them
    I have 3 resource cfg files in each folder. Resource 3 have the most recent date but those files are read only. So I'm just checking to see if thats normal and if not how to fix it.

    1. Hi! Please email me a screenshot showing it but if you have files with (1) or (2) etc in your Yandex folder it should be safe to delete them even if the dates are newer, as they're not used by the game anyways. If you installed any advanced mod like reshaded that would cause issues, you can't do that on The Sims 4 Automatic, you need the Lab Version with Gallery for that, so you can apply the mod on the version of the game used by EA App and NOT on any folder managed by Yandex Disk App, since those folders are read only on your side.

  7. Hello, I am trying to install reshade for the game but every time I try the folder shows up on Yandex with a folder with a red x.

    1. Hi! You can't use reshaded with The Sims 4 Automatic.

      You need to use the Lab Version instead, then apply reshade to the folder used by the game after your game is properly set up there.

      The Yandex folder is read only, this is expected behavior. Sorry.

  8. Are the new kits on? I've not done this part yet so I'm not sure how to check when they are useable. I see in game it says I do but they aren't showing up when I go into objects. is there something special I have to do?

    1. Weird because everything looks ok including your access to the server. I also emailed you about it but I got no answer from you yet.

  10. I'm having problems with the career selector. I've removed all mods. I've completely reset my sims 4 folder. I've repaired my game. Nothing is working. HELP!

    1. Since you are using the Lab Version you should run my installer again. Then run EA App, exit EA App (just closing isn't enough), open it again and play.

  12. I'm having an in-game issue where I can't interact with other sims. I've moved mods, tried different saves and even did a completely new install with nothing but the base game and I'm still having this problem. Is there a current glitch that is causing this??

      1. I removed all my mods and cc and saves. Did a new install and I'm still having the same problem. Maybe I didn't uninstall properly?

        1. This is really weird. You need to wait until all icons are green and you synchronized everything. Also, you need to get rid of your entire "The Sims 4" folder inside Documents\Electronic Arts to test, not just "remove mods and CC" because other files may be corrupt.

          Yesterday's version of the game (thanks to EA) may present issues with the head / face attributes, but I didn't hear anything about the problem you talk about, so your case must be related to a corrupt file somewhere.

          1. Ok, did this and might have discovered the problem? I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the new family dynamics? I can now interact with other sims, but can't with a sim in my household. I created a new family with a husband and wife, but there wasn't a family dynamics drop down. Just a way to select, "sibling, finance, wife, ect". Is this a new part of the gameplay?

            1. I am not sure but perhaps it was a feature you got used that came from a mod you used?

              If so, until you fix / update that mod, you can't use it. 😬

              1. Yeah, the family dynamics seems to be what is messing things up. I tried a fiancé dynamic and it got really screwed. What's the best way to do a full uninstall? Like remove all files and re-download from Yanex?

                1. Hi! If you got the game working after starting fresh without the contents of Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 then you do not need to reinstall anything and you can just enjoy. If you bring mods that are incompatible or saves that are corrupted they will not work no matter if you reinstall the game or not. 🤔

    I just reinstalled the game wanting to start fresh with the new updates but when i go to start the game i get an error message that only says "D:\sims\YandexDisk\Premium Access\The sims 4\Delta\EP!#\ClientDeltaBuild0.package"
    and the error im guessing would be [bdbb60ea:29f00e76:00000000:4b0d852b]
    I have no idea what i've done wrong or how to fix it, everything is synced.

        1. Cool! Try to run the game directly from "Premium Access\The Sims 4\Game\Bin\TS4_x64.exe"

          Also, double check you still have the 5 or 10 GB available at the bottom of Yandex Disk App.

          1. sorry for delayed answer, but yes i still have the 10 GB available. When i try to start it from the direction you said i still have the same error message 🙁

            1. Hi! I removed your access (temporarily, of course) so you can delete everything in your Yandex Disk, including its trash folder.

              Then you can let me know and I can reinvite you, then you can start the tutorial over.

              Also check if you have an older version of the game anywhere in your computer that you might not want anymore (you don't want to delete EA's original one, of course, since you need it when you access the gallery, if that's the case).

                    2. I couldn't reply to your comment for some reason. I have Windows Defender as my antivirus and I did put the entire Yandex folder in the exclusion list.
                      I uninstalled and reinstalled Visual C Runtime Libraries and restarted my computer, but no success. I'm almost thinking I should just do a complete swipe and start fresh in general, I'm not sure what else to do haha. Thank you for your help though.

  16. hi, on EA it's saying "update required" even though on yandex it's still saying that i have the version "before removing tooth loss feature (no gallery)". i don't know if i was supposed to get the new update for it to sync or not.

    1. Hi! You are running the previous version (off line) that I made available for Lab users that did not want the latest update.

      If you see that error you should delete the file "\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\GameVersion.txt" (adjust to your language, if necessary)

      You should also not go on line or use EA App when playing, but run the game off line directly instead. It's just a temporary solution because I felt some of you might prefer to have the feature not turned off in spite of the bugs. 😇

      For the latest version of the game you need to follow one of the main tutorials.

      1. the thing is i would prefer online gallery if that's possible, i do have the lab version the thing is i don't see the option for the one with gallery anymore. i don't know if i have to check to see if i have to get another invite for gallery or not.

        1. You do. You probably synchronized the wrong folder.

          You need to use EA App as usual and you need to use the same installer and same files as before. You do NOT need that folder with the older version of the game. It's just an added extra for users that have the specific desire to use that specific version so they can have the tooth loss feature not removed.

  17. My game has been giving me a notice every time I launch saying "One or more Build Mode/CAS items have been removed" and I'm not sure what things have been removed or why 🙁

      1. Thanks, that would make sense, but I've had mods but no CC and just deleted and reinstalled all my mods for the update, so I don't think it's that.

            1. Nice! What happens if you start another save, play a little, save, close. Run the game again and try again? Without using the save that's giving you the error?

              1. That'll probably do it, theres a few funky little things happening in this save, it should clear up in a new one. Thanks!

                1. Makes sense. Try to use "Save As..." then close the game, open the game again using the new save. Everything might be fine after you do that.

          2. Yeah at this point, I haven't noticed anything actually missing, so I'm guessing its just a weird glitch and annoying pop up. Thank you for trying to troubleshoot with me tho 🙂

        1. Hi! Funny. It should show on your yandex mail or on disk.yandex.com (via browser). I cancelled your invitation and invited you again. You can try to follow the tutorial again.

    1. Hi! It seems your invitation is still open. You are likely running an old copy of the game instead of using the synchronized one.

      You need to delete the version you have first, then follow my tutorial again and accept the invitation at disk.yandex.com after you clean your Yandex Disk.

      2. i managed to clear out my yandex and accept the invitation, but for some odd reason the files aren’t showing inside the yandex app?

        1. Hi! Thanks for sharing your issue, you're not the first person with this problem (not sure why). It seems the solution is to uninstall Yandex Disk App. Download the Yandex Disk App again and install it. That should fix it, please let us know if it works for you too! 🤗
