One of the files won't synchronize to a green icon, but it is specifically one: The Sims 4 Automatic Online Beta/The Sims 4/Delta/EP09/Strings_DUT_NL. How can i go about fixing it?

I am not, I play in English, but this is my first time trying to use the online beta and I didn't know if it would work when a file isn't fully synced. I was using the non online version, but then it disappeared, so I figured I had to use the online beta now.
Oh, I asked because that file you showed me is a language string file for the Dutch language, so it should not be used by the game if you're playing in English.
Ideally you want all icons to be green, though. Did it sync after a while? Are you able to fix it by using the method where you right click, select keep on line only, then right click again, choose save to computer again (don't do it to the entire folder, or it will take longer, only files with a red icon).
You should also have access to the traditional folder, not only the Lab one (you don't need to sync it if you're only using the version with gallery, but I reinvited you, not sure why you lost access, sorry).

After I switched that language file to 'keep online only', I had two other files do the same thing (not sync). So I did the same with those and now everything is green. Thank you all your help, I accepted the re-invite, and am gonna try and run it again.
But you did the second part where you choose to "save to computer" after, for all affected files, correct? Because you might need some of them (specially the others, as I don't know what they are)
Hello, I haven't had this issue before but I'm unable to play because Yandex is saying ''Files are too large and weren't uploaded to Yandex disc''. It wants me to upgrade to their premium service which I'd have to pay for. Is this normal?
I already don't play much anymore so that isn't really something I want to do
NO. You do NOT need to pay them.
If this is happening something is wrong because I pay them on my end.
Perhaps you accidentally created a copy of the game or perhaps you modified your game (or updated it using EA App while using the space saver installer if using Lab) and it's trying to upload things to the server.
If you can't figure out by hunting for red icons, you might get rid of the issue by deleting everything in your Yandex Disk and starting over. Let me know if you lose access and need a reinvite.

Hi! You can visit disk.yandex.com in your browser to check everything is deleted. Also, please open the trash there and clean it too.
You should have your 5 (or 10) GB available again.

Hi, I followed everything and all of the steps and the game loads just fine. But when I go to click βnew gameβ the sim doesnβt load for create a sim. It shows those llamas instead of the icons when I click on things. Did I do something wrong?? I cannot see what I did wrong?

Hi!! I just upgraded to the lab version, and when I try to load my games from the previous version it mentions about missing the new packs (grunge and book). I thought these were already updated in unless I missed it somewhere.
P.S. everything in re-synced and installed correctly, game loads as should, just says im missing the 2 new packs XD
Hi! This is weird. Which packs are you missing? The book nook and the other kit?
They should be fine if you synchronize and run the installer again, then exit EA App, open it again, exit it (closing only isn't enough), open again then play.
I just tested it here and it works, but keep in mind EA App had a forced update today, so you have to run the installer again after EA App updates itself.
Let me know if you get it working again.
Update: Re-installed as advised, everything is there now, thank you so much!!!

hello, so the download was successful and i have them on my desktop although there aren't the normal sims 3 emerald icons, but when i double click the apps it says "windows is searching for TS3W.exe" and then another popup says "the item that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly. nearest match..." etc. and then "do you want to fix this shortcut to point to this target (the target being the nearest match or do you just want to delete it" and then my options are fix it or delete it or cancel. should i do one of the options or am i supposed to do something else?
Hi! You need to sync, then follow the tutorial and use my installer etc. You can not just download and run, it will not work. Sorry.

hi sorry to bother you, if i started the "create" option on cmd and then realized that i should do the delete one and canceled it, then started the delete option, is that okay or will it mess anything up? it says on cmd copying files, please wait but it's been going for a while without any change so i'm worried i did something wrong. thank you for your help π
Hi! Are you talking about Sims 3 or Sims 4 Lab (Experimental with Gallery)?
If you're talking about Sims 3 it's okay, but it still needs to copy a bunch of files (the ones that go inside Documents like full store etc).
If it's Sims 4 Lab I believe you are ok if the installer "accepts it". But the Sims 4 Lab installer on "space saving" mode should be much faster, so I guess it's not your case, but it's handy to have the information here in case anybody else also reads this. π

Hi!! I was wondering if I needed to restart yandex or anything because when I open it, it's saying that the game is synced for the online beta version for sims 4, but I don't have the recent update that has been released yet.

If you are using the Lab Version with Gallery you need to synchronize until all is green, then you need to run the installer again, then you need to open EA App. EXIT (closing isn't enough) EA App, run EA App again then play. π
Yes, I did that and it's still saying this message on the bottom everything is synchronized but it's not showing the new update I have a file that's labelled "Updating right now don't use it!" It was added on 5/30/23. I tried restarting my pc and like closing EA app and yandex completely and still nothing π

It should not interfere, of course.
The Lab Version needs to be "reinstalled" each time there's a new update. So, after synchronizing Yandex Lab you need to run the installer again to add the new content. π

Hi sorry. It still doesn't work, it's opening the game in the old version. Now yandex is trying to resync all the files it is at 41% now this is the second time it has done that . I was wondering if I should just uninstall sims 4 from my computer completely and just start over because everything I have tried is just eating up my disc space at this point.
Good idea. I just removed your access. Please delete everything inside your yandex disk on line first (disk.yandex.com) including the trash folder.
Wait a few minutes with Yandex Disk App running. Check if it's clear on your computer too.
Let me know when ready (or if any problem, of course) then I can reinvite you and you can start over. Also check if you have multiple copies of the game taking space in your computer, because it seems you might have it.

You're like 2 or 3 versions behind already. Maybe you're using a shortcut to an older version or you created a copy of the game instead of synchronizing instead?
How do I fix it.

Look at your Yandex Disk and try to run the exe there directly (using the app, of course, not the web interface).
If it works correctly you need to run my installer again or just create a shortcut pointing to it. Keep me posted.
