The latest versions of The Sims 4 All in One are only available through our exclusive The Sims 4 Automatic System, which is continuously updated anytime there's a new fix or update (no matter how large or small) plus it also doesn't require you to use peer-to-peer networks and VPNs. Older releases are available as All in One Portable versions that require the use of torrent clients to be downloaded and, depending where you live, a VPN properly set up (due to peer-to-peer censorship, amongst other things), plus they're not automatically updated and you need to redownload the entire game anytime you want to update it.

If I already have the origin base game , and I want to install the DLC, where should I put the folder with all of the files?
You should install this version separately as suggested. You can use any folder except for the one where you have the Origin version installed. It's advisable to use
C:\Program Files\The Sims 4
And should I download any files from the Sims 4 download link except from the DLC files?
No, you're supposed to download everything (the entire All in One Portable or Customizable, according to your choice, then follow the instruction from its page / video).
Everything including the base files? Which files do I need to download from the cost I'm usable version??
Including the base files, yes. Everything, you will do a clean install on a separate folder, so the Off Line version does not interfere with Origin's and vice versa.
Sorry, costomizable
Yes, everything, and install it on a separate folder, you can see the video tutorial in the post explaining in details what you have to do, your case fits that procedure.
I had this problem too. If you go Documents>Electronic Arts> The sims 4> Mods. there you can find the mod file. Hopefully this helped :))
Hey, I installed the game and it works perfectly, its just i can't seem to find the mods folder anywhere in the game files?? I was wondering if i might of messed something up when downloading?
The mods should be in your
Documents/Electronic ARts/The Sims 4
folder after you run the game for the first time.I recommend you try to run the game without any mods or custom content to see what happens.
I used the customizable version since I have one bought pack. Do you suggest to re-download everything using the portable version?
Hum, it shouldn't be necessary if you downloaded everything and installed it to a separate folder like I show in my tutorial.
Also, the new version is being released any day now.
