The Sims 4 High School Years was released a few days ago, shortly after The Sims 4 Update 1.90.358.1030 and, even though it was a massive update to the game that brought exciting things like curved walls, sexual orientation, wants & needs and much more to the base game they also broke many things, some of them being addressed by this patch 1.90.375.1020 released today, August 2nd, 2022!

The Sims 4 - Base Game
- Sims with a short or long Lifespan no longer become younger or age dramatically when leaving Create a Sim.
- The “Ask to be Girlfriend/Boyfriend” Want now targets appropriate Sims.
- Adult Sims no longer tag teens in flirtatious Social Bunny posts.
- All available Sims now can be selected for travel even if they are currently not on the current lot.
Get Famous
- Sims without Fame no longer occasionally appear to have it.
High School Years
- Sims now can walk through the I Was a Teenage Garbage Artist pile of clutter.
I've been opening Yandex and leaving it running for an hour + every day since the patch and it still hasn't updated - I'm not sure if there's something I need to do manually to get it to update? I'm just using the standard premium all-in-one, not the lab version. Thanks in advance for the help!!
Hi! No. Because this patch makes some people lose all their saves I didn't apply it to The Sims 4 Automatic and I am waiting for the emergency patch that EA is supposed to release soon, so it's safe for us to update. The only version that was updated was the Lab Version, since it requires each user to run the installer manually to update, giving everybody the choice to take the risk (or not), something not possible with the automatic.
I removed and update all my mods on Saturday, played Sunday & Monday, and started a new save today. Moon Mill was the same too as well.
Rename your folder Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to something else to force the game to start vanilla. Try it out that way, therefore not using any previous save, cache, cc, mod or anything.

Also, just as a reminder, I did NOT apply the patch 375 from yesterday exactly because it seems to destroy previous saves (for some people) and I am waiting for the emergency patch that should be released any minute (hopefully) by EA.

Yes. I am not sure the patch will address mods, though. It will likely deal with the update mentioned in this page, which I did NOT apply to The Sims 4 Automatic intentionally exactly to prevent the issue...

Nice! Keep in mind only the Lab Version with Gallery has the 1.90.375 version applied because of the saving disappearing issues. The Sims 4 Automatic is held back at High School EP release version.

is this update available on the all in one game currently? my game is still saying its got the older update and its still broken. The icons on my game are all off or have disappeared and many features are unplayable 🙁

I updated the Lab Version as soon as the patch was out but not the Automatic yet because since the last update was problematic I wanted to look out for information before patching it this time (whenever I update the Automatic it syncs the server and propagates the update, the Lab Version requires running the installer again, so each user can decide if they want to stay or update individually, therefore I can patch it more quickly without worrying as much).
I have my eyes open and if all is well I will update The Sims 4 Automatic later today.
Your game should be working, though. If you use mods, you need to update them (or remove the ones that weren't updated).
Please test it out and let me know how the game runs if you rename your folder "The Sims 4" inside "Documents\Electronic Arts" as usual (for testing).
Also, double check all icons are green on your Yandex Disk App (after running it for at least a few minutes).
