  1. hey! just tried to resubscribe both by using paypal directly and through patreon but neither work? i have plenty in my paypal balance so i'm not sure why this issue. \o/ is there another way i can resub?

    1. Hi! Since it's a recurring subscription, you need to use a credit card. You can use the gift option instead [Click HERE for that] if you want to use your balance and get a non recurring subscription, then you need to let me know when it goes through so I can process everything manually for you. Keep in mind longer terms are much cheaper than a single month, since they require less intervention.

      On Patreon I thought you could use your credit card directly. I think that if you use PayPal's normal subscription (it's cheaper, keep that in mine) you can also checkout as a guest, then you can let me know if it works and I can update my database manually if necessary after that 😉

Hi, I'm about to pay a yearly subscription by PayPal, but as I'm not completely fluent IÃŊn English I feel like I'm missing a few things :/ Do I need to manually create a Yandex email address to get access? If I have your old Portable version, do I have to delete it to download the Automatic version and does that mean that my save files are going to disappear too? And if I decide to cancel the yearly sub sometime during that year do I get any money back? Sorry for being annoying haha I'm just really unsure about all of this but I wanna support you!

    1. Hi! Your questions are very pertinent, thanks for making them! (English is my second language too, my first is Brazilian Portuguese 😉).

      1. Yes, you need to have a Yandex email address, you register at mail.yandex.com;

      2. You can delete the portable version from Program Files, or you can keep it, your choice. It won't interfere, but it won't be used for The Sims 4 Automatic either (you can't reuse files either, you'll need to follow The Sims 4 Automatic tutorial from scratch);

      3. Your saves, mods, custom content, screenshots and videos are all inside your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 and they're not touched by the installation procedure. All those files are available and visible to any version of the game you run, being that Origin's, Steam's, Automatic, Portable or any other release you might want to use. The only factor that determines who sees those files is the login account you use on Windows.

      4. No, you don't receive a refund for your yearly subscription, it's cheaper because you pay an entire year in advance. All donations are final, no matter which length of subscription you choose. Monthly subscriptions don't "carry over" (yearly ones do, so even if you cancel you'll get your 12 months, for example), meaning cancellations are immediate, since the benefits are my way to thank people for the support they give me and aren't a commercial service or product. I am just a single person doing my best to help people and using the money I receive to be able to continue this after it stopped being possible to do that for free like before due to personal circumstances and the lack of enough ad revenue.

Just one last question, if I decide not to resubscribe after 1 year I suppose that means losing access to the updates etc and to the game as a whole? Does it automatically uninstall or does it just stop working?

        1. You lose access to the file server, which has the game. You retain your saves, mods, custom content, screenshots and everything else that's usually saved by the game inside your Documents folder. 😇

  9. Last night my game was having trouble kept saying "Origin is running" even tho I don't even have origin on my computer and today the game won't open at all and theres no error message

  10. If we don't wish to use the automatic feature, what happened to the manual option using a torrent file. I've searched many times but can no longer find it. Do you still offer the torrent feature? If so, how do we find it?

Probably because some of us have come from G4TW and they've disappeared/stopped updating their website so whilst our games are up to date (from the latest previous patch 1020) and we just need 1 simple patch but everyone on the internet is making us scrap our working installation in favour of an "all-in-one" pack. Personally I Just want one simple updated download not a 50gb one... :/ also not having to learn a new method and trashing our existing methods in what which we may personally find easier? I'm just guessing...

        Where can i find/explain on how your method works? Is is complicated? I'm slowly giving up :'ÂĶ

        1. Hi. Thanks for clarifying. My method is different (no need for torrents) and once you synchronize your computer with my file server, you're kept up to date and whenever I update / upgrade the game your computer is updated / upgraded by the cloud storage system as well, automatically.

          I have a tutorial available that is visible after you subscribe to Premium Access. And yes, the first time you set things up you need to redownload all files, but after that, as long as you stay subscribed and with your Yandex Disk App in good order, updates are delivered to you automatically (hence why it's called Sims 4 Automatic). Plus I am also able to apply smaller patches and fixes this way, May/June had more than 10 small adjustments! 😇
