  1. Hey, i just received a link via email and the same thing is happening over and over. Link starts, times out and closed the download. A new link wouild be appreciated. I've tried a few things with no change

    2. Interesting. You're using Comcast, so it's not likely a VPN issue.

      When you have that problem, if you start over, does your browser go really fast for the same percentage you downloaded previously then slows down and continues downloading not as fast? Because if it's the case, you can do that until you get the entire thing. This is a direct download from my server, so you should not be having any sort of ban or censorship from your Internet Service Provider either, it's likely just bad communication and your download drops for some reason. The only alternative to that is Premium Access which gives you access to other stuff and also our file server (Yandex instead of the one you're using now). That way you'd use Yandex App instead of your browser and you'd synchronize instead of downloading the file(s) you want.

      1. I was able to download parallels and got it set up. However, it says that the file has a problem mounting. I tried putting it into my iCloud Drive because it is currently only on my Mac desktop

        what should I do?

        1. Hi. I don't know. I don't have a Mac, sorry. This is made for Windows so you need to set up windows using bootcamp on your computer first, then you need to follow the instructions and download the file to your Windows partition and work there instead.

          1. I got it! I'm so sorry for all the comments I'm leaving. I'm not familiar with gaming and programming... just the sims! I am having a hard time downloading the full store. I downloaded tixati like you said in your instructions and the file is on my desktop but nothing is showing up when I copy and paste the folders. When I look at tixati, it says that it's going to take over 40 hours to download? Do I have to wait for all the files to download before copying and pasting?

  3. I just had a couple questions. One, and this is probably pretty obvious, is it at all possible to log into Simport while using the latest build of Sims 3 All-in-One, or does it have to stay offline to prevent EA from detecting something's wrong? And also, for some reason the Sims 3 Launcher that was installed when I properly went through the installer doesn't work on the welcome screen. Just gives the generic, " http://launcherapi.thesims3.com could not be reached, refresh or troubleshoot?" page.

    1. Hi! You may try to disable the firewall rule I set up with the installer in your system by editing your firewall rules on windows to allow the game to connect and you might be ok connecting to it. Keep me posted on how it goes, it's been ages since I used simport and I thought it wasn't operating anymore.

      Careful to NOT update the game using the launcher or you'll break it 😁

  4. Hey I purchased the download today and it failed and there's no way for me to continue downloading. Is there any way you can help me? I can provide proof of purchase if needed.

        1. I think I found you (different email but same 3 first letters, which are your first name, but I won't mention to protect your privacy 😉). So... You got the link, right? Why did it fail? Did you cancel? Can't you use it again (it has to be from the same computer & network, can't use a VPN)?

          1. yes both emails should begin with my nickname Mia, I did figure the issue out. I'm using a vpn and I'll see if that helps this time. I had about 50% downloaded and I'm not sure why it failed. I assume my ISP has something to do with it. Thank you for responding quickly.

            1. You are very welcome. I have a feeling you downloaded about 19 GB on your first try, sorry you lost it. I hope that if you download with the same browser it continues where it stopped (brosers usually cache download data, so they go really fast when redownloading the same thing). Keep me posted please.

            2. Just checking, are you opening the "secret link" emailed to you that gives you a page with a download link? You need to open the page and click on the link again, you can't use your browser's history to download the file directly again or anything different or it won't work. 😉

              1. Good afternoon, here's an update on the process. This is my 7th time downloading the ISO file and I'm using Internet Download Manager, but I keep running into a big issue. After about 4 hours of downloading, the download times out. Is there a mirror download for the ISO file? Or is there any way you could help me resolve this issue?

                1. This is likely the problem. Try downloading normally with your browser instead of using a Download Manager. No, there's no mirror, unless you subscribe to Premium Access, then you are able to use Yandex Disk to sync the file with your computer, plus also have the full store and The Sims 4 Automatic, amongst other things 😉

                      You will also find in the same file server The Sims 3 All in One 2021 (the one you're commenting about) and the full store, amongst other things. You'll synchronize those files and use the provided installer (for Sims 3 All in One) or follow the video tutorial for The Sims 3 Optimized Store (I didn't write a proper tutorial because I am working on a new version, but it's taking me forever, sorry).

  5. I'm wondering how to disable DLC? I went about manually uninstalling them all but then when I went to play the game it kept asking for a registration code and wouldn't start so I'm guessing I did something wrong?

  6. I download the torrent and having some troubles. I try following the video but I still don't see a way to play the game. the part of the video when it says to " copy the shared file to the electronic/the sims/game data. I had to make those files myself. I'm just confused. ( i did pay for this before and repay for it because the update)

    1. Hi! I thought you were a Premium Subscriber (it seems you cancelled, sorry). This version of the game is not in a torrent but it's a direct download instead.

      You just need to download the entire thing and run the installer as administrator. You should have new shortcuts in your start menu and also on your Desktop.

      Sometimes you might face issues if you're not using Windows in English, but it seems to be working for (almost) everybody so far.

      You can't just copy and paste The Sims 3 like you can do with The Sims 4, because there's registry keys and other stuff (hence why the installer is really necessary and I was really happy to be able to put this one together, completely from scratch 😉).

      Please keep me posted on how it goes, take your time, relax, start from the top.

      1. The thing is I don't have an installer. the only 2 files I have is " Docs and Game data" plus the "instructions." unless I'm missing something here

          1. Thank you so much, I will try and let you know. And one more question, when the game is installed, can I move the game folder into other hard disk? My C drive is not big enough.

            1. No, you can't. What you can do is use a symbolic link to trick the system into believing your game is where it should.

              You'd use (replace D with your drive letter of choice):

              md "D:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts"
              mklink /D "C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts" "D:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts"

              That will make your computer think that it's dealing with the game in the normal location, even though the files are actually stored somewhere else. You can adjust the destination path, not only the drive letter, if you prefer, of course 😉

              Just remember the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts" must not be changed, and that you must do this BEFORE you install the game. Also, if you already have that folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts", you need to remove it first.

    1. Hi! What do you mean? If you want full privacy and access to other things like The Sims 4 All in One Automatic it would be advisable to subscribe to Premium Access instead. That way you will synchronize / download everything you want from Yandex Disk's Cloud Platform (you can register there in advance for free at disk.yandex.com to double check you can have your account properly activated in advance, sometimes they ask for an SMS validation, sometimes they don't). You do NOT need a VPN to use it either.

      Of course, if you choose to download this you can too, it's also a direct link and not a torrent.

    1. Hi! Yes! It's a direct access and it's even a step further, since you will actually synchronize your computer with mine using a cloud service (Yandex Disk).

      When you first install it you'll need to synchronize/download everything but, after that, the game is kept up to date automatically for you and this method also allows me to apply small patches and fixes seamlessly as well 😇

      1. Thank you! I was also wondering because right now I am trying to download the 2021 sims 3 and I'm at the cmd part and I saw my local disk c drive says NFTS and 0 gb out of 111 free and I was wondering if this is normal because I had more space free before I started the process.

  14. I really don't want to install this straight to my PC, I'm driving to install this onto an external hard drive, so I edited the paths, but everytime it finishes, it says I need to reinstall Sims 3.

    1. Yes, you can't do that.

      You need to install the game in the default directory on your drive C.

      If you don't want to (or can't), you need to create a link using mklink (you can search for the command syntax) to trick your system into believing your destination folder is the correct one, then you can run my installer again after.

  15. I'm not sure if this is a mod issue or your version of the game itself, but I can't change the settings to my liking. Like, the settings will stay changed for the session, but when I quit and restart the game, it'll be back to the default settings you set. It's otherwise very nice, however I want my game to be fullscreen!

    1. Hum. Right click the file "Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Options.ini" and change it from read only to normal (right click it, unflat the attribute "read only").

      And / or run the game as administrator when you want to change those settings.

      I will work that out on the next version.

      1. Or you can delete the file Options.ini entirely and let the game generate a new one, which should work as well.

        I did that because the game kept rewriting the options and re-enabling a bunch of annoying features like the shop mode, for example. Plus it usually runs much faster windowed.

      2. Weird, I am actually not locking the file, so it's likely only because when you install, you run it as administrator, so maybe you need to run the game as admnistrator as well. Please try it out and let me know! And, of course, each time you run the installer, it will overwrite your options.ini file.

        You can also edit that file manually if you want to change a few things there 😇

  16. Hi there, once i open the installer, it seems to freeze when it should be copying files. The installer never does anything after the "copying, please wait!" banner. Everything is solid green, so not sure what else to do?

    1. Oh. Well, run the installer as Administrator.

      Second, the amount of files is really massive, check on your Task Manager if there's high file activity, because depending on the speed of your drive(s) it may take half hour, sometimes more, sometimes less, to copy everything.

    Is what I keep getting when i open it.

    1. Hi! That is REALLY weird. I never saw anything like it.

      Is your computer in English? Are all files synchronized (no red icons)?

      Did you get the shortcuts on your Desktop and Start Menu (if yes, maybe you can just use them).

      Also, instead of doing that, try to right click the folder where your game is on Yandex Disk App, then choose "Show in Explorer" to be able to see the folder on Windows Explorer instead of Yandex Disk. Then, find the game by navigating there as usual and play like before (what's broken since they updated Yandex Disk App is we can't run the game directly from it like before). You can also try to run the installer that way too (from Windows Explorer). Hopefully you get the shortcuts.

      Oh, and are you installing Sims 3 or Sims 4?

      Because for Sims 3 you do need the installer and the previous advice won't work. You need to have all files synchronized and I don't know if it works if you're using a non latin character set on windows. Please keep me posted on how it goes.

      1. Hi, yes it was sims 3 and when I changed my locale back to US it worked. Thank you for your suggestions!

        I had the locale set to korean for a different game, just in case someone else has this issue in the future
