- Next, it's time to download the ZClient and the ZLOrigin Clients (you need both!).
- Copy the file "ZClient.exe" that you just downloaded to "C:\Program Files\ZClient" (Create the folder if you don't have it and give your operating system administrative privileges if it asks for you to do so), right click on it and "Run as Administrator". Insert your credentials in the program and click Connect. ⚠ Be always sure that you are not running the Original EA's version of Origin BEFORE each and every time you run ZClient!!! In case you have any doubt of it, open the task manager and kill any origin process(es) inside the details tab. After being authenticated, minimize (do not close) the ZClient's window (so it keeps running in the background). You can create a shortcut to ZClient into your Desktop if you'd like to do so, since you will need to run it every time you play.
- Now, to install ZLOrigin you will extract the contents of the file "ZLOriginSetup.zip" that you downloaded in the Step 6 above, open the folder where you extracted it to, right click "Setup.exe" and "Run as Administrator". The program will suggest a location for you to install it, but you can customize it to any place you want, except for the folder where you might have the original EA version, if you have it on your computer (never install unlocked with original versions of the game or Origin, unless instructed otherwise).
- Each time you play (or install / update a game) you will have to run the ZLClient, then ZLOrigin, which is basically an unlocked version of Origin with very similar functionality (never use your real EA credentials on them!).
Hi! I have been playing The Sims for years but this is my first time updating the game (TS4) on my own. I am just hoping you could help me. Do I need the previous patch updates to be able to do this one? Or can I go straight to this one without the past patch? To be more clear, my TS4 is super outdated (I bought a cd with TS4 crack and its version is 1.0.732. So, can I go skip the other patch updates and go straight to this patch? This post is a bit outdated, I'd recommend you to use The Sims 4 Tiny Living All in One Portable once it's released or, if you want to play with University right now you can use The Sims 4 1.59.73.1020 All in One Portable Including December 2019 Update [Baby Yoda]

No, you need to follow all the instructions from my video / post.
But you don't need to use ZL Origin anymore, you should be using The Sims 4 Discover University 1.58.63.1010 All in One Portable [November 2019] instead.
ZL Origin versions are mostly for people who want the game right when it's released in Australia or when they can't use torrents.

Is it possible for ZLOrigin to detect my installation and allow me to only download the DLCs I'm missing (and if so, how could we do this?) or do I have to download and install the game and all of the packs all over again? Hey, when I open the game an error message pops up that says please download legacy edition but there is no legacy edition between the addons for the sims 4 and it should be there. Is this an error or is it going to get updated later?
Oh, it sounds like something that would happen because the new version of the game is not compatible with 32 Bit Versions of Windows. Is it your case?

No, you don't. ZLORigin is just a way to get the game faster, but you can wait for the All in One / Update Patch to come up and install it (I am waiting myself).
