FIXES & UPDATES
Legacy Edition
An issue was introduced that prevented several languages from being able to properly run the legacy edition. This occurred due to the game client not reading its initialization file in the correct place, which is required in order to launch in the players chosen language. And as a result, the game would crash upon launch if English was not installed. We have fixed this issue. Please also be aware that any player that followed our instructions to perform a manual work around will not need to make any further changes after this patch.
Standard Edition - Base Game
An issue introduced with the last patch caused a Toddler's needs to decay twice as fast. And as much fun as toddler motive juggling may be, it made it impossible to care for more than one toddler at a time, and could easily result in the toddler being removed from the household. We have addressed this issue, and returned toddlers to their normal needy selves.
We have addressed some crashes that were impacting mod users.
Discover University
Users, whose save files became corrupted after running into “error code 102:6ee24dd4” or “error code 109:1bfa931d”, should find the issue no longer occurring. This is a retroactive fix, and saves that were corrupted should once again be available to load.
Hi! I am downloading all of the games and dlc. I was going to use your all in one, but I don't think I need the legacy edition. Is there an option where I don't have to have that so I can use any other dlc when they come out in the future. I have a 64 bit cpu.
Oh, this version includes everything, so you can just download it and only use the 64 bit version of the game. The legacy files are not too large, so it's not worth having them separate, they'll do no harm to your 64 bit game and it will keep being updated as usual 😉
And now, for some reason, I cannot comment on my previous post (once again, it says "Log in to reply" even though I am logged in) but I can comment on this, so I'm just copying our previous comments into this comment.
I know I can use boot camp, however, the download file is too big to fit the partition (I only have around 60 gb of storage and boot camp requires that the mac partition has a certain size). So if anyone has any other idea of an emulator or a Wineskin Winery type of solution (but 64 bit since I am using Catalina on my mac and that only supports 64 bit solutions).

For some reason I can’t comment on the “All in one” post (it says I need to login but, as you can see, I am logged in) so I am commenting on this post, even though my question relates to the “All in on” download. Have anyone managed to get the “All in one” download to work with a Windows Emulator? I always used Wine for the previous downloads but that only works for 32 bit versions. If anyone could tell med which emulator they use and what settings they use to make it work, that would be great.

Hi! If you’re commenting on the All in One Page (the one that lists all the versions) instead of the all in one post that has the version you’re using that might be the cause for you to not be able to reply there, but it’s all good, I am glad you could comment here!
So… It seems that you might be able to use boot camp to have a multi boot environment on your Mac. I am not sure how it works because I never had a Macintosh, sorry, but maybe someone who reads this can give us some ideas?

Hi! Your anti virus removed the file, that's the problem. You need to check the history/quarantine and if it's not there, after having the anti virus off do a force recheck on your torrent client, so you download just the missing file again to have your torrent complete again.

I looked there and there wasn't even a Sims 4 folder for some reason. I will try to redownload this portable version and see if it shows up.

I try my best to show how to do things in my videos and also in my posts here on the website and I look forward improving things and making new versions of the videos too (they take forever to put together and I have been a bit resource limited lately, gotta use my spoons wisely, as someone living with CFS/Fibromyalgia).
I also use text on my links instead of buttons to minimize the chances of people clicking on ads by mistake, and they're always pink with ⏬ before and after, so the unusual design I use should make them as clear as possible to help you all, hopefully.
I admit that linkvertise is a bit tricky before you get used to it, then you'll see exactly where you have to click to avoid being taken somewhere else.
I am not currently using linkvertise on my all in one links most of the time, just when I feel I need a little extra cash, but the updates from G4TW are not mine from me to un monetize them, so I keep their linkvertise intact (and they REALLY REALLY REALLY need this revenue, so I support them on their choice because they did not have an alternative for that, I am lucky enough to run some ads on my website that pollute things a bit but make it possible for me to use LinkVertise only when necessary).

Is Anadius going to repack University soon? I tried using the portable version, but there was no .exe of the game to be found (I opened my current Sims 4 .exe and there was no update to be had). I trust Anadius the most because I don't really trust Linkvertise or whatever it is that G4TW does.

Hi! Huge Hug for you taking the time and effort to provide programs and support for those of us to continue playing the sims. I have a 64 bit operating system, win 10, Intel Core i7-7700. I keep seeing 32 bit mentioned on this article.
Is this "All in One" for 64bit also? Is it possible to run from an external hdd or another internal hd other than hd that windows is installed on?
Hi! Yes, my all in one repacks always have the 64 Bit versions and the ones with Legacy 32 also have it included. I am not sure we'll see more of the 32 in the future, depending on what EA does with it (they say they won't update it, but they did release this patch for it, so we'll find out soon enough).
Yes, it's totally possible to run from another drive, no worries, just create the folder on a different drive but same location (if possible) and it will just have a different drive letter.
The game should work from any folder, though, as long as the structure of the sub-folders is maintained.
do i need to have the base game for download this or does this patch include the base game?
The one you're commenting on is an All in One, meaning it has everything, base game, all expansions etc.
It even has the Visual C# runtime libraries you might need. Just follow the instructions and have fun 😉
How do I add CC and mods to the game?
Same way you would with any version of the game, including Origin and Steam ones. You'll install it in your mods folder inside your Documents. You can't access the on line gallery though, you need to get your files in some other way (The Open Gallery is temporarily not working).
Also, if i've purchased the base game, seasons, get to work, parenthood, and bowling night stuff can i choose to not download those?
The ones from Origin should stay on a separate folder, so you do need to download everything from scratch.
Now, what you can do to "reuse" the files you have is starting your download, stopping it on your torrent client, then you overwrite the files being downloaded with a COPY of the ones from EA, then you "force recheck" the files from within your torrent client and like magic they'll show as downloaded already, then you'll only get the very specific files you need 😉
But not if you're on a Mac OS, this release is made for Windows only, sorry.

I do have a question regarding this download. I downloaded the non-legacy one, The Sims 4 All in One Portable + Discover University 1.58.63.101. I saw that EA sent a patch out on the 25th. So I went to the page to see if it has been updated with that patch and the page said it was outdated and to use this legacy version. Is there a way to keep the one I have now (non-legacy) and be able to update it with this download? Is that possible and, if so, how would I do that?

hello! first of all, thank you so much for the time and effort u spend to help us play the game, you're a life saver! i just have a bit of a question regarding the legacy edition + discover university portable download ;; i was able to run the game but noticed that i didn't have the discover university pack (RoM is the latest one), so i checked the dlc toggler to see if the DU pack was unchecked but it wasn't 😮 tried to run the game again but i still couldn't see DU. would installing this patch fix the problem? thank you so much! <333
Discover University is only available for the 64 Bit version. Maybe you're trying to run LE (Legacy 32 Bit)?
