  1. hi, i just finished installing it, first time i opened the game for checking it's running like usual, but the second time i tried to open the game it won't open, i tried to look on the task manager on details tab it says not allowed then it suddenly disappeared. i tried to open the game again but it still won't open.
    can you help me?

      1. but i have already ticked the 'run the program as an administrator'? when i checked on the details tab when it says that the app isn't allowed i tried to right-click the app to find any options but the app quickly disappear just like i never opened the app

        1. That's what I meant when I said maybe you do not have administrative privileges on your computer, but if you can give administrative powers to the exe file, but your task manager is closing when you try to look into the details, something is wrong with your system. It could be a virus or a bug on your windows installation.

          I would try to update windows and also do a virus scan with Windows Defender to see what could be wrong. Once your task manager is working properly you will be able to kill the origin process, otherwise you can try looking at your task bar, near the clock, see if the origin icon is there, if yes, you can right click on it and choose the alternative that lets you close it. That should fix this specific problem but it won't fix any issue your system might have that should be addressed for your own safety.

  2. hi i tried to download this but when it got to 18.4 gb it stopped and utorrent said it was missing files and that there was a viruse and unwanted sofware and wont let me continue to download it im going to try again and see if it changes

    1. Hi! How are you?

      You need to exclude the folders used to install the game and also download it from your anti virus real time protection, like I mention on my site and also the video tutorial.

      You need to open your anti virus history/quarantine and allow/restore anything that it blocked.

      Most anti virus software give a false positive diagnosis to modified files because their original producers don't like when people fiddle around with their code to remove remote tracking features or DRM from it.

  4. hey , i just finished installing it. Thanks a lot ^^. There is a little problem , the first time I open the app , it's completely fine ; I get to play for awhile and then I closed it back since I just enabled the mods and cc option. The next time I try to open the app it doesn't do anything instead and said that the origin is running. I checked the task manager but I don't know which is the origin itself. Please help me fix it I really want to play it so bad. This is the second time I re-download the game. :'))

      1. I checked for any origin.exe in my task manager but there's none. Everytime I open the app it says that the origin is running and the application can't start. I checked the task manager again and the only thing I see is the app Sims 4 running. I didn't find the origin.

        I have a file that has been quarantine and I just put it on the whitelist , still the app won't open :\\

  5. hey! Can I download Virtual C++ Studio on the internet and install them without downloading them from the All In One Portable file?
    It's because I already have a version of it (2017 64-bit)

    Sorry to annoy, I've tried to install the game in a new computer, had never had sims before in it.
    But when I try to run the 1 Visual C# Runtime Libraries the one of 2015 doesn't run, it says that a version of this product has already been installed. I tried finishing the install but in the end the game didn't open. Any idea what I did wrong?

    1. No worries, just ignore when it says that it's already installed, it just means you already have the Visual C# of that version, that's a good thing.

      I don't know why the game did not open, but from what you mention I think you did not watch the video tutorial and you probably missed a step?

Well, I've downloaded the previous "all in one" pack of the game but some updates are missing (like the moschino pack, story mode, lunar new year and, of course, the new update which will be up tomorow), how can I download them? Is it even possible to update the portable game that I currently have with new packs?

  9. hi. i have another problem. so i went onto origin and it said the game needed an update, which i only have officially bought the base game from. then i did update it, and i ended the process tree like i was supposed to everytime i play the offline version, aka. the full game. BUT, this time origin wont go away no matter how many times i end the process tree. I have no idea where i went wrong. Please do help :p thanks sm

    1. OK, let me think. You have TWO copies of the game installed in TWO SEPARATE folders, correct? Because each time you run the version of the game installed by Origin (or ZLOrigin or any similar tool) it will automatically run Origin. The only version that does not run origin upon opening is the off line version.

      You need to kill origin each time before playing.

      Now, if origin is opening right after you kill the process under details, you might look into your services tab to see if it's being run automatically instead of manually, perhaps they changed their program to run as a service and that might be the cause.

      Please keep me posted, I hope you can make it work and share with us what was wrong, so we can also learn from your experience. 🙂

      1. okay. i deleted the second copy of the game. the services tab didn't show Origin.exe, but only the Client Service and one other miscellaneous program, both under local system. i changed the client service to manual, but origin keeps popping up everytime i click to run the game. i keep ending the process tree each time but it seems like the game requires Origin to run.

          1. Well okay I fixed it using the oldest trick in the book: deleting everything and reinstalling it again (not origin, only the game files, bc origin didnt matter anyways) but yeah i figured maybe activating origin made the sims depend on it which is why i couldnt play the 'offline' version. but thanks a lot!

  10. Hello there, So i downloaded the game, it installed and i started playing. All's well except for one important thing. It doesnt save!! It just doesnt let me save. I worked on a house for more than 3 hours and then at the end i had to force shut down the game since it got stuck on the saving screen. I tried saving it again in the second gameplay after a few minutes two three times but i had to again force shut it down. Please help, I'm not able to play properly.

Ok so i got everything downloaded n running the only problem i'm having is during gameplay whenever i get to a loading screen it stays there. it doesn't move on to the next part if that makes any sense. like i get thru CAS then i go to move them onto a lot once i pick the lot im stuck on the loading screen. what do i d to fix this.?

      1. it does not move off the loading screen. All the little tips still scroll across under the plumbob on the loading screen but it never leaves off the loading screen. one day i just left it up and went to work for 3 days. i came home it was still on the same loading screen.

    1. Hum... Try using The Sims 4 Validator. Sorry it took me this long, I did some research but I could not find a specific solution to your problem after looking into it for more than half hour, sorry. We'll likely find a solution eventually, let me know if the Validator catches anything, then we go from there.

      Oh, just to be sure, those items are not CC, right? Because some CC can be broken because they might need to be incompatible with the new version of the game.

    1. Thanks! You start downloading, once all verifications are done, you stop it (using the stop option, on Tixati). Then, you copy the files you already have into the folder you're downloading, overwrite the files. Then, you do a force recheck (Local Files > Force Recheck if using Tixati), wait for the verification to end, it will validate all the files that you already have, so you just download the ones you don't (whatever is newer or different). Then you resume downloading.

          1. I just woke up and turned the computer back on. I was so tired yesterday (worked on video and posts the entire day from 7 am to 1 am) and I made a mistake and shut down my machine.

            I still don't speak Dutch, but I will get there one day. I am very happy that you're getting the files now. Sorry that it's usually much slower during the first days or hours since launch, as more seeds are needed, then the download gets normalized.

  20. I have The Sims 4 on Origin, as I claimed it for myself when it was free for a limited time. Can I install this on that and have all DLCs, while also having all features of an original Origin Sims 4 with all DLCs installation (like the Gallery)?
