Instructions
If you didn't yet, do this first [Otherwise skip to Step 6]
- Check for Windows Updates and Install Them;
- Update all Video Drivers;
- Disable Real Time Protection or Exclude Folders on Anti Virus on these folders:
- Where you want to install the game to:
Usually "C:\Program Files\The Sims 4" - Your Download/Torrenting Folder;
- Where you want to install the game to:
- Then, Download The Sims 4 All in One Portable 1.52.100.1020;
- Install Visual C# 2013, 2015 and 2017, both 32 and 64 Bits, or just 32 Bits if running Windows 32, with the installers provided in the download above.

Tip for Advanced Users: If you want to save time and you already have the game, start downloading, open your torrent client, pause/stop the download. Overwrite the files in the download folder with the similar ones from your game folder (the ones you're already have and you're already using). Now, right click on your torrent and choose the option to "Force Recheck". This procedure will make your torrent client compare the old files with the new ones, marking the ones you already have up to date as downloaded. That will save you tons of bandwidth and time. This way you also don't have to wait until an update only release is ready.
Now, do this...
- Create the Destination Folder and/or Symbolic Link: "C:\Program Files\The Sims 4"
If you already have it, it might be wise to rename the existent one to something else, then create it again as above, you can delete your old game version later, so you don't mix the new files with the old ones. - Move/Copy the contents from the folder "2 Program Files\The Sims 4" of the download into the newly created "C:\Program Files\The Sims 4" or anywhere else you prefer, as long as it's empty.
- Backup "\The Sims 4" inside of "Documents\Electronic Arts\", just in case (specially if you use mods or custom content)!
- Create a Shortcut to "C:\Program Files\The Sims 4\Game\Bin\TS4_x64.exe" (or just "TS4.exe" if running on 32 Bits) and Define its Compatibility to "Run as Administrator"
- Run The Game and Adjust Settings for Better Experience [Windowed Mode tends to be better than full screen, Laptop Mode is good for lower end PCs]. Enjoy! đ

I followed the tutorial to my knowledge as instructed, for the 1.52.100.1020 PORTABLE download.
However, when I try to open it the pop up says 'unable to start: the contents of your user data directory were created by a newer version of The Sims 4 and cannot be loaded please update your game via origin to play."
I don't have origin running but I do have the bought base game installed, should I uninstall that? Please help! I've seen your normally quick to respond <3
Hi. You likely ran a newer version from another source (origin, for example) and it saved the information in your
Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4folder.You can delete the file GameVersion.txt inside your
Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4folder. Be aware you might break a couple of things here and there if there's any incompatibility.A safer option is to rename the current folder and run the game to create a new one with the "older" version until the new release 1.54 is available.
Hi! I've just downloaded the files but when it comes to install the visuals 2015 it gives me an error saying that file is already installed but as a different version and it can't be installed again. Instead, I've tried to install the visual 2017 and it gives another error stating that it could harm my pc. What can I do?
It's all good, you don't need to worry then. Weird that you got an error when trying Visual C 2017, but you don't actually need it, so it's all good, just ignore and move to the next step of the tutorial.
Thank you for your help! May I ask you another thing? I've tried to use the cheat code "bb.sholiveeditobjects" but it worked one time only and now I've tried to enable it again but i can't! Even other cheat codes don't work. Do you have any suggestion?
What's more, I don't have the possibility to create a Sim story, is it normal?

That sounds weird, because those features came with version 1.53. Maybe try restarting your computer and check you're using the right key combination. If the worst happens, 1.54 will hopefully fix it.
Hi Sim Architect. I am trying to run the game but an error message keeps popping up saying "The code execution cannot proceed because OrangeEmu64.DLL was not found". i tried reinstalling the whole thing but the error message is still coming up. What should i do?
Your anti virus removed or quarantined the file, you need to open it and restore.
I successfully restored from my anti virus, it does show up when i search in the folder but the same error message is still popping up.
Weird. The problem should be fixed once you restore the two files the anti virus usually marks as a false positive. You also need to set it to allow the item. Besides that, it's wise to exclude the folder where your game (and your installer) is from the real time protection.
