1.) Since The Sims 4 tends to be picked up - erroneously - as "malicious" by many anti-virus programs, you need to make sure to add both the (future) install location of your game as well as the location of your downloads to the "exceptions list" in your anti-virus program. But depending on which anti-virus software you yourselves are using, you may need to do more research on your own. Don't worry! Even though the game files are picked up by anti-virus software as malicious, the files are completely safe to use! (it’s what we call a "false-positive" warning ). We suggest you add the following locations to the exceptions list in your anti-virus software. Later on, once you installed the game, you may narrow-down the exclusions to only your installed The Sims 4 game folders. But in order to avoid any problems during the download of the games and/or the installation process, it is a good idea to add these exclusions beforehand OR temporarily disable your anti-virus software before downloading and installing the game.

2.) If you didn't before, download and install Games4theworld's version of The Sims 4 base game, which you can find along all other Games4theworld releases, on our official Forum announcement here: https://www.games4theworld.club/t53-all-games4theworld-downloads
3.) If you didn't before, now install the other Games4theworld The Sims 4 torrents in the following order, if you have not done so already. If you installed some of these, then you only need to apply those item that "follow" your latest DLC. For example, if you have everything including Toddlers/Vampires/Bowling installed already, then you just need to apply Parenthood -> Fitness Stuff -> Toddlers Stuff, and of course Cats & Dogs.

4.) Your next step is to go to where you installed the base game of The Sims 4 to. Inside, you should see a folder named "Game". WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you RENAME that folder, into anything you like. For example into "Game_". Alternatively you can also delete or move the folder away.
5.) Now copy ALL the folders inside this download, to where you installed the base game of The Sims 4 to. If you installed Games4theworld's base game, the default install location will be under C:\Program files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 .
6.) When prompted, choose "Merge folders" and "Copy and replace (all) files/Replace files in the destination".
7.) If you want to use the 32-bit version of The Sims 4, now please MOVE (don’t copy) the “The Sims 4” folder located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\ to THIS location instead: C:\Program Files (x86)\ So your new installation location will be: C:\Program Files (x86)\The Sims 4\
(Note: if you have a 32-bit Windows operating system, this folder will not exist on your system. In that case you can move the folder to this location instead: C:\Program Files\).
8.) If you want to use the 64-bit version of The Sims 4 (which is only possible if you're using a 64-bit Windows version), we recommend you move the "The Sims 4" folder to this folder instead: C:\Program Files\ , so that your new installation location of The Sims 4 will be C:\Program Files\The Sims 4.
9.) Done! You now have the latest available working version of The Sims 4 ! If you have a 32-bit Windows operating system, navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\The Sims 4\Game\Bin and start the game by double-clicking the "TS4.exe" file. If you have a 64-bit Windows version, you can use "TS4_x64.exe" file under "C:\Program files\The Sims 4\Game\Bin" to start the game instead (See step 6 above).
If you want to create shortcuts to quickly launch the game from your Desktop, right-click on the desired .exe file and choose Send to > Desktop (Create shortcut).
Start the game and… ENJOY playing the latest version of The Sims 4!
ADDITIONAL NOTE: as of lately, the game appears to "warn" users at the beginning that the 32-bit executable is being used (when you start up the game with the TS4.exe), and that this could lead to "poor stability". If you have a 64-bit Windows operating system installed, we recommend you move your installation of The Sims 4, under C:\Program files, and always use the TS4_x64.exe when starting the game. Note that this is merely a precautionary measure, as we have not been able to make out differences between using the 32-bit and 64-bit version of the game during our testing.
ADDITIONAL NOTE 2: for some people, after they copy/paste this update over their existing Sims 4 installation, they might initially get an error like "Orange is not running" when trying to run the game the first time (after applying the new update). Click away the
error window(s), wait a few seconds, and then try starting the game again.
ADDITIONAL NOTE 3: THIS VERSION REQUIRES WINDOWS 64, IT WON'T WORK WITH 32 BIT INSTALLS.
If it still does not work, try disabling any and all "virtualization" features in your UEFI/BIOS settings. Please try googling or refer to your specific motherboard model/number, as a start, and go from there.

hi man so i did everything as instructed but when i doubleclick the TS4_x64 in the bin folder, it crashes. but when i use the TS4 in the Bin_LE folder the game works but theres no Discover Univeristy and im still stuck with Realm of Magic. please help, thank you
Hi! Hold your windows logo key (in the keyboard), then press R. That will open the "Run" window.
Run "dxdiag"
You'll get a windows with information about your system. Does it say you have Windows 32 or 64?

Check your anti virus history and quarantine. Check which files you have in your Games/Bin folder. Please let me know.

OK, you have what's necessary, but for some reason your game is not running properly. Did you have any saved game or Mods/CC? Try renaming your The Sims 4 folder that's inside your Documents to something else temporarily to see what happens.
Also, how much RAM do you have?
I moved the mods folder and it still doesnt work. And I have 7.89 GB usable RAM

Hi! You should use the latest The Sims 4 Tiny Living All in One Portable and install it from scratch. You can reuse the files you have to speed up the download though, if you stop tixati after it initializes, then overwrite the "new" files with the old ones, then do a force recheck on tixati, then continue downloading AFTER the check is done.

I seemed to have done something wrong and i can't figure it out. I have a origin owned base game and the anadius repack with realms of magic. But when i open the game it recognises that i have the sims university in my game but is says: expansion not owned. And when i click on it it says go online or stay offline. I have restarted the game a few times but that does not work. Can someone help?
It sounds you're running the origin version somehow. If you followed my procedure you'd have two folders and two separate installations of the game isolated between themselves exactly because this and other issues happen sometimes. You should download The Sims 4 1.58.69.1010 Discover University November 25th Patch + Legacy Edition 1.58.69.1510 All in One Portable and install it from scratch somewhere separately and also remember Origin can't be running when you play this version.

It seems to be related to the file permissions in your system for your Documents and your Pictures folder, somehow. Check that you have both read and write permissions there.
Hey, i wanna download the sims 4 discover university and the update. I already have the sims 4 so this is all i need and i can't download the 37 gb thing bc itll take so long especially with my internet.

You need to have Realms of Magic AND Discover University on top of it. Then you will also need to apply the patch. Sorry but perhaps you might consider The Sims 4 1.58.69.1010 Discover University November 25th Patch + Legacy Edition 1.58.69.1510 All in One Portable. You can reuse the files you already have though, I have information in the topic on how to do it with Tixati. You start downloading, stop it. Then you overwrite the files with whatever you have, then you force recheck, it will recognize the files you already have, then you can start downloading again after that, so you will only get the files you need and nothing else. On top of that you'll have both Legacy and University.

Hello, I downloaded and installed as per instruction, however when I play the game, whenever I want to play a household, on the loading, my game always crashes. This never happened before. I tried disabling cc and mods but it's still the same. I used anadius before so I only use this for the Discover University. How do I solve this?
Try updating windows and your graphics drivers. Change the settings in the file "Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Options.ini" to run your game in windowed mode (and choose a resolution that fits your screen, of course).
