2. Download The Sims 4 All in One Portable
â Before starting, be sure you are allowed to use peer to peer networks to download files on your internet access! Sometimes your Internet Service Provider or your Network might not allow you to use Torrents or it may be unlawful where you live.
Using a VPN may help you, but it's not necessarily completely safe and no matter how good your VPN service might be, it can't hide all your digital breadcrumbs left by cookies and other information shared over the network by your devices, sadly, including your geo location!
If you are unsure about being allowed or safe to use Torrents, please consider the safer Sims 4 Automatic which is delivered and updated on your computer by using a directly synchronized folder (directly managed by myself).
If you know you can use torrents without issues and you already have a torrent client installed (I recommend Tixati, as uTorrent sometimes breaks large downloads), to download the game you will use the link below.
⎠DOWNLOAD HERE âŽ
The link above will take you to my Link Decoder Page...
Once your download link is processed you'll just have to click on the link that says "Click here to continue" in the screen presented below.
You'll be presented with the pop up below, which is there just in case whoever uses the link decoder doesn't know how to use it, you can close the pop up (or you can click on the ad if they are offering anything you might be interested in ð).
Depending on your browser's settings, you might get the request for authorization below, if so, click on Open Tixati (or something similar if using another Torrent Client).
Sometimes you won't be asked anything and you will just see a blank tab, but if you pay attention your torrent client will be open in the background. It might have already even have started downloading the game for you! ð
If you were already downloading the game before you might be presented with the dialog below, just click on Yes
Once your Progress Bar is at 100% your download is complete and you can move to the next page for the next step of this tutorial!
How to Speed things up if you already have another version of the game (Optional)
If you already have another version of the game, no matter where it comes from, no matter the version number, or even if it's multi language or English only, you can optionally do the following if you want to speed up the download process by reusing the files you already have in your computer!
The instructions below are for Tixati, but you will likely be able to do the same if using another torrent client.
Once you start downloading you should have a similar screen like the one below. You need to select the torrent, right click on it, choose stop to make Tixati pause downloading (mine was already complete, therefore it shows as seeding, yours will be downloading and with a lower percentage in your progress column until it's done).
As you can see above the folder structure is similar to what you have on your local copy of the game. What you will do next is to reuse the files you already have on your computer, so you don't need to redownload them, saving you many hours of wait.
To do that, you'll have to open your local copy of the game on Windows Explorer. In my case I use the default C:\Program Files\The Sims 4
folder, but your copy of the game can be located anywhere else according to how you set it up previously (Origin's version can also be used as a "source" for this step, by the way).
If you look at the folder structure below you'll see it's VERY similar to the one within the torrent. What you want to do is to select everything (left click any of the items just once, then use Ctrl + A so select all items), then copy (Ctrl + C or Right Click Selection, then Copy).
Now, back to your torrent client, you want to right click on the folder The Sims 4 shown below, then on Open Folder.
Double Click on The Sims 4
Now you can press Ctrl + V (or right click on an empty space, then select Paste) to Paste the previously copied files:
Enable the check mark to "Do this for all current items" when you see the dialog below, then click on Yes.
Once you're done copying / overwriting the files, open Tixati again, then right click on the torrent you're downloading, then Local Files, Force Recheck.
That will make Tixati compare the files you just wrote with the ones that should be downloaded. If they're the same, they'll be reused, if they're different, they'll be discarded automatically, that way Tixati will only download what you really need on the next step.
Once the Force Recheck procedure is done (it may take a few minutes to process everything), you just need to right click the torrent again, then Start.
Depending on which files you already had this will speed up your download considerably. Once your Progress Bar is at 100% your download is complete and you can move to the next page for the next step of this tutorial!

Hi! I was wondering if i accidentally used the DLC uninstaller, can I put the packs back in that I deleted?
DLC Uninstaller removes the files (permanent). DLC Toggler only deactivates them (temporary).
Hi! this has nothing to do with this but i'm wondering if on the online gallery, you can enable cc because whenever i go on there none of the sims have cc
Can't use CC when uploading to EA's Gallery, sorry. You need to share your content elsewhere if you use CC on it, sadly. Same thing seems to happen if you use content that other people created, like downloading a household from the gallery (or house), changing it, can't reupload as your own even if you modified the entire thing.
oh no thats fine... its not your fault but i was just wanting some sims with cc and i guess i can't. lol EA have to fix their stuff man.
Hi, I have a problem. I can't see mods in my game(i have them enabled). Do you maybe know what can cause that issue?
That's weird. If you have mods enable from within the game (you need to re-enable them after each update) and they're in your
Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods
folder they should work.Remember that the mods will be only applied to the current Windows user. If you log on with a different user on your computer you won't see the same saves/mods.
Well, It still doesn't work but thank you for the help :))
OK. Check you're using the right folder. You may have The Sims 4 Legacy AND the regular one. They create 2 folders. Also verify you don't have more than one language, some languages use different folder names instead of The Sims 4.
It's working now, thank you for the help !
OMG! Awesome! What did you do to fix it?
I just put the folder(the torrent one) in a different place and changed the name, it worked so I might've messed up with that.
Nice! Thanks for sharing!
Hello! Sorry I'm getting a bit confused with all the versions, hope you can help me out when you have time! I'm currently on version 1.47.49.1020 playing on a Mac (CODEX download), and would like to update my version with the latest patch + eco living if possible. Which sources do I need to download? Thanks in advanced!! Can't believe you do all this and I'll definitely donate when my finances are more stable!
Hi! Thanks for your words!
So... to run it on a mac you need to have a Windows Emulator or Wrapper (wineskin or something like that, I don't know anything about Mac OS yet, sorry).
On top of that you should use the latest All in One, since your version is quite old.
I hope you can make it work.
Got it thank you so much! Starting to want a PC just because it's so much more game compatible haha
I think you can install Windows on a second partition in your hard drive / SSD. There's likely a few tutorials around it. ð
It's also pretty cheap to get a license to Windows Enterprise (or professional, even cheaper) on eBay.
