  6. Alright so I used this to update from my 1-62-67-1020 all-in-one download and it seemed to be going well. I followed the directions to a T. Prior to moving the update to the same area as my game, I had the OrangeEmu file, but after they merged, it disappeared. I don't have any antivirus on this computer so I don't know if that'd play a role even if I did. I really don't want to have to redownload everything. Is there an easy explanation/way to fix this?
    edit: I just realized a mistake I made where I copied all the files rather than going into program files and choosing "the Sims 4" (face palm). Luckily I can just delete them and move the portable I had since I have it on my old computer still, but I don't know if that explains the disappearing file?

      1. I followed that step too is the thing. Made sure to add the two necessary exclusions. Either way, I’ll try to find the security history and see if I can get back the files.
        Does the update come with an orangeEmu file To replace the original one?

        1. No, it does not (the 1.63.136, not the one you're commenting on, which does not have the latest patch). But you can download the all in one but flag all the files you don't want to NOT Download.

          If you already have the original torrent (all in one 1.63.136) just force recheck after being sure your torrenting folder is excluded from real time protection. I feel that you might be able to recover the file from the Anti Virus History/Quarantine.

  7. i need some help... since i play straight from the download folder, how can i update this pack? is it right choice to copy "the sims 4" folder and paste it to those folder?

    1. No. If you do what you say you'll replace new files with old ones and break the game.

      You need to follow the tutorial and copy the downloaded files into your existing game. But remember this version only works if you already have 1.62.67.1020 as the title mentions, and the next update requires this one and so on.

      1. i read and try to follow the tutorial but i just dont get it. here for example, my location shortcut for TS4 on my dekstop is "J:\The Sims 4 All in One Portable 1.62.67.1020 + Legacy 1.62.67.1520 [Sim Architect]\2 Program Files\The Sims 4\Game\Bin"
        i miss the point of "open folder c:/program files". from the start there isnt folder "the sims 4" in my folder c:/program files

          1. ah, u mean tutorial on "all in one rite"? bc in this page there isnt 3.3 hehehe now i get it. so if i choose 3.3 for this update only it will work just like how it work with my previous version rite? and it'll be 2 shortcut in my dekstop i guess...

            1. No, it's ok. If you read the entire tutorial it should make more sense. You're copying the folder and not its contents. You can do either way to be honest, I had to choose one for the tutorial 😁

              1. hi again, since I failed to update before because there isn't "orangeemu64.dll". as you said, it happens because of antivirus. even though, I already follow ur tutorial on how to handle my antivirus. just dunno what's wrong:(
                First of all, I tried using tixati to download this update. before I click start downloading option, I clicked one by one folder and saw on bin folder there is no file named orangeemu64. Is this make any sense? anyway, I choose 3.3 in this update

                1. Hi. As I mentioned, this is an update only version. The update only version does NOT have orangemu64. This last one had a compressed file with it, but I can't remember the password, sadly πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

                  Since it's a torrent I can't repack or fix it like I can operate on files at The Sims 4 All in One Automatic [Nifty Knitting], so we'll only have something new when the next version of the torrent is released.

                  Now, The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle All in One Portable 1.63.136.1010 [Including June 10th Patch] has all files including orangeemu64.dll, and it's newer than the one you're commenting on.

                    1. Sorry to hear. I heard about that error but I don't know how to fix it. Are you using Tixati?

                      You can always just download the entire All in One from scratch and starting over, it might be easier this way. πŸ˜‰

  8. so first, i'm pretty thankful for you to allow us to access the game, thank you! i just downloaded the update, and it works.
    but at the same time, i have an issue. everything seemed to be flawless up until i went into the cas, because there the columns are...weird. there are three columns and behind the first column there is a weiird glichy greenish line. i did have a more column mod, so i thought that will be the problem, but after i got rid not just the column thingie but all of my mods, the glich with the line and the third column (even without the more column mod) stayed there. so what should i do? can i do anything with this?ο»Ώ

    2. hey, you need "v1.62.67.1020 Hellos and Bug Fixes" in order to download this. I had the same version as your v1.60, so instead of wasting my Internet data, I downloaded the following (from Sims 4 "Updates and Patches" page in this website) in order:

      1. The Sims 4 Tiny Living Update only [From 1.60.54.1020]
      2. The Sims 4 Anniversary Update 1.61.15.1020 [From Tiny Living]
      3. The Sims 4 Update Only 1.62.67.1020 [Requires ... ] Hellos and Bug Fixes
      4. This one (Eco Lifestyle Update Only)

        Yes, you can totally do that. I am not sure you save much bandwidth, because all those updates pile up on size, hence why I usualy recommend using the all in one when you don't have the patch that came right before.

        I also changed my tutorial a couple of weeks ago to teach people how to reuse their files (quite tricky to do, but the most tech savy can surely use the procedure to download only the files they really need and it's also compatible with other sources and repacks).

  11. Hi! Thank you so much for this! However, I seem to have a problem... I followed the steps, and I copied and replaced all the files, but when I started the game, it hadn't uploaded. I then checked the bin folder to see if I had every file, but I didn't, and one of the files I'm missing is the OrangeEmu64.dll one. I downloaded it again, and it still doesn't appear. I checked Windows Defender, just in case it might have removed it, but there's nothing there either. I don't know what to do. My game works just fine, as if I hadn't done anything, but it does not update, and the expansion pack does not appear

          1. I'm using utorrent web, which I don't think has a security feature (not that I know of, anyway), I've used the same one every time I've updated the game. Yes, I am the administrator. Thank you so much for taking the time to help me, btw. I'll probably end up downloading the All in one version of the game, and pray I can successfully move my saves to that one. It's just that it takes so long to download that I'd like to fix it without having to do that (because I don't know if I'll have the same problem then too)

            2. Hang on! I know what's wrong! You're using the update only. The update only requires you to have The Sims 4 All in One Portable 1.62.67.1020 – April 2020 – Hellos and Bug Fixes from me or G4TW. If you are trying to update a different version you will NOT have the Orangemu.DLL because it was not included in this torrent, as it stayed the same.

              As you can see above OrangeEmu did not come with this update only version because when I compared files it did not come up as different.

              1. That's the version I had, actually. I had to move the whole game to a different memory because of space issues, and I may have missed it or deleted it or something, I don't really know, the only thing that I know is that I can't find it anywhere. The game still works just fine, like nothing really happened. Is there any way I can update it without having that file, or do I need to download the whole game from the All in one version? I'm really sorry for being this annoying πŸ™

  15. Having an issue seeding. When I finished downloading and moved the files to my game, my [finished] torrent got an error and stopped seeding. I started a new download and limited my download rate to 1kibs/s so that it wouldn't download while I seed, but seeding is stuck at zero and isn't working. Any ideas? What can I do next time to prevent this? Before I finished it was seeding at around 100 kibs/s and now nothing

Did everything according to the instructions, but everytime I start a game and go into bulid mode, when I go back to life mode my sim and the bar at the bottom dissapears and no actions are possible and I have to forcully close the game. I donΒ΄t know what went wrong. IΒ΄m not new to installing updates from you page. What can I do to fix the game?

      1. Yeah, that glitch was from a mod. Didn't expect that because until I went into build mode everything seemed to be fine. πŸ˜€
        But I still didn't figure out why the romance relationship bar is not there. Was that a part of the update too?
        I took all the mods out so there shouldn't be anything interfering with the game.

        1. Yes, sadly that's how modpocalypse works... Anytime there's a major update things get messed up and the mod community needs to fix their content to be compatible (the game even disables mods whenever we update it because of that and we have to reactivate it).

          1. I don't want to bother you but I still can't figure out the romance bar out. Both sims are young adults and I've been performing romance actions but the bar just never shows up.
            Any idea why?
            As I've said before I've taken out all the mods so that is not the issue and I can't find any info about this being in the latest update.

            1. No idea. You're the first person I see mentioning this bug.

              What you can do to test is start a new game after renaming your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 folder to something else. That way you can see if perhaps something in your previous saves is interfering.

              1. Tried to rename the folder and start a new game, no luck. Tried it with a townie and in those preset relationships I can see the bar, but when I try to flirt with anyone new, it never appears even tho I get the possibility to woohoo with them.
                I havenΒ΄t seen anyone mentioning this bug after the new update, but at least I donΒ΄t have the toilet bowl on fire. πŸ˜€
