The Sims 4: Strangerville [Version 1.50.67.1020] - Installation Guide
NOTE 1: In order to use this download you will need to have a cracked basegame of The Sims 4 installed already, plus the Games4theworld releases listed down below, and in that particular order. See the Forum announcement to learn where to grab the items:

NOTE 2: We strongly recommend that prior to installing this new update/DLC, that you DELETE or RENAME your "Game"-folder, inside your installation path of The Sims 4 (see step #4 of this guide!).
NOTE 3: Due to the new crack, the method of language change is also different now. During our testing, we found ourselves unable to change the in-game display language by means of the codex.cfg file, however, changing the language works if you change the registry manually. To help ease you into this 'area' we provided individual .reg (registry) files, for each language. We VERY STRONGLY RECOMMEND - for the time being at least - that all of you choose a language that you want to play the game in. Open the folder of the language that you chose, inside "# Language Registry Files". Once you have chosen a language, please double-click on the .reg file that is inside in the folder. Ignore the warning and import the registry entry. Note: if you have imported the registry files, from one of the previous updates, you do not need to import them again, here.
NOTE 4: If you have your game installed on a non-C: drive, you may also need to change the registry entries to accomodate the particular hard-drive the game is installed in. Press the Windows key + R. Type "regedit" in the small window, and hit Enter.
Now edit the drive letter under "GDFBinary"and "InstallDir", here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Maxis -> The Sims 4
And edit the drive letter under "GDFBinary", "GDFBinary64" and "InstallDir", here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Wow6432Node -> Maxis -> The Sims 4
Simply double-click on the given registry entry, and edit it. Save the changes of course. We will keep you posted in future updates and on the Forum, should we find another (easier) way to change the display language.
NOTE 5: Always remember, if you are unsure about the exact installation procedure/order of Games4theworld's The Sims 4 torrents, make sure to check back under the Forum topic, which gets updated every time a new The Sims 4 update is released.
NOTE 6: Credits for providing the No-Origin crack files go to the group CODEX. The actual game update, DLC files and language strings were extracted from an Origin-based (a.k.a. a legal copy) of The Sims 4 plus DLC. Games4theworld 'merely' repacks those updates and provides Support on the G4TW Forums.
I downloaded the update with torrent and when I tried to open it it said that it is unable to load
Oh? Maybe it is not finished? Do you have WinRAR?

What do I use to update the game? I want the newest update that is coming.
As soon as it's released you will see new posts on my website. The update versions are for people who already had the previous version (so, if you have Island Living already, then you will be able to use it) and the All in One versions are for everybody else (or people who have Island Living but just don't mind downloading a bit extra data and perhaps want it faster, since All in One versions are released first).
Ho. So I installed it and I wanna uninstall it for now. How do I do it?
What do you want to uninstall? The entire game?
Yes. I was able to uninstall the DLC's since it came with the uninstaller. But for the base game, I can't seem to find the uninstaller. What folder/s should I delete then?

Apps and Features, scroll down toThe Sims 4, click on it, then click onUninstall.Hi there! I've visited the Games4theworld site and downloaded the game according the Anadius instructions. I already had the base game. However, when starting the game it won't load. With some individual DLC's it does, but when combined the loading takes forever.
Now, I've asked around the forum and Anadius responded. After several attempts to fix this, we've come to the conclusion my PC isn't working. But I've downloaded Sims 4 and all the DLC's before (the old way where you have to have all the DLC's), and it worked perfectly. So, I'm thinking maybe this way of downloading isn't working for me.
I'm hoping you'll be able to help me out or maybe tell me whether your way of downloading is different from Anadius way.

Hi. You say the game is taking too long to load. Does it play well after it does? What kind of drive do you use, SSD or HD? Perhaps you can, indeed, try The Sims 4 Island Living 1.52 All in One Portable [Ultimate] that you can run from any drive you wish.
What do you mean when you say that your PC isn't working?
Quik question if there was to be a new update, can i update via games4theworld or should it be exclusively here?

Can I reactive my antivirus without excluding folders after all the steps above?
You do not need to deactivate your entire anti virus if you exclude the folders or allow the necessary files manually.
When I first started the game, it said that my custom contents are disabled because of an update. When I try to enable it back then restarted the game, it keeps saying the same thing. What should I do? đ
Weird. Enabling the custom content once after each update should be enough. I don't know. You might want to take a look at the Games4TheWorld Club and open a topic if there's nobody talking about it there.
is there anyway i can ad custom content to this game?
Yes. The Custom Content you install manually you get the same way, going to the author's website and downloading it etc.
